Raya Fidel
Co-Director

Raya Fidel is a Professor at the Information School and Co-Director of the Center. She received a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Maryland. Her expertise is in the areas of human information behavior, knowledge organization, and qualitative research methods. She has applied the Cognitive Work Analysis framework to study information seeking in various communities from high school students searching the Web to design engineers working collaboratively to solve information problems. Currently she is a Co-PI in the Fully Mobile City Government Project.
