Ireland Trip - The week before ECSCW
2007 Lisa and I toured the southern areas of Ireland.
Ross Lake - In July 2007 we took a boat
trip on Ross Lake in the Northern Cascades. Nice day,
just a little windy on the lake.
Kalaloch, WA - We recently spent a long
weekend at Kalaloch Lodge in the Olympic National Park
on Washington's Pacific coast.
Surfing Lessons - Over the Christmas
holiday in December 2006 my family went to Hawaii. We
celebrated my sister's birthday and, as part of our
little adventure, my sister and I took surfing
lessons! You should always be willing to learn
something new. I've got a bunch of pictures, but I've
limited it to a few choice spills and a couple solid
rides.
Long Beach, WA - Over the summer (July
2006) Lisa and I went to Long Beach. ... No, not the
one in southern California! We went to the one in
Washington state, just north of where the Columbia
river meets the Pacific Ocean. Long Beach is a huge
expanse of sand. It was a great break!
Paris 2005 - I went to the ECSCW 2005
conference in Paris, France. Lisa came after the
conference for a week of vacation.
Wayne Lutters was recently in the Puget Sound. During his
visit we took a couple hikes out at
Mt. St. Helens and around
Coldwater lake. We also spent a day
exploring
West Seattle, Lincoln Park and Vashon
Island.
Hawaii 2004 - Our trip to Hawaii for
the Christmas holiday.
Dude Ranch Trip 2004 - We took a family
trip to a dude ranch. Pictures include Lisa, my
sister, and parents - as well as horses and some great
scenery.
Helsinki 2003 - Lisa and I were
able to visit Helsinki the week before the ECSCW 2003
conference.
